BMW E30 limited slip differential, 3.23 ratio, Rebuilt to factory 25% lockup - Built with an E36 M3 carrier and gear set! This is a fully rebuilt E30 limited slip differential set up for an E30 specifically, but will all E28 5 series and E24 6-series (cover is for'83-84), except the M cars. Fits all 6 cylinder E30s, the E30 M3, and E23 7-series cars from about'82 on. Fits 6 cylinder Z3 models. This is the medium size case with a 188mm E36 M3 clutch carrier and ring and pinion gear, E30 side flanges, and E30 rear cover. The E36 M3 carrier and ring gear fit 14mm assembly bolts rather than the 12mm bolts found in non-M medium case differentials. For anything other than an E30, you just have to swap the rear cover and perhaps the pop-in drive flanges. Includes differential, side drive flanges, and cleaned E30 rear cover as shown. Fit with a zinc plated diff ID tag showing a ratio of 3.25 because 3.23 tags are very difficult to source. This unit was professionally rebuilt. This means everything was disassembled, cleaned, and parts were replaced as necessary.

The carrier spool was rebuilt using 2 good used clutches (inspected and media blasted) and set up to the stock 25% value. New bearings and seals were installed and the unit was setup correctly to ensure proper and long term operation. The yellow paste on the gears is to show the contact pattern between the ring and pinion gears. The unit weighs approximately 90 lbs when boxed up.
