BMW E36 325i limited slip differential, 3.91 ratio, stock 25% lockup, 188mm ring size. This is a good used and in good working condition E36 325i limited slip differential. I removed this from an automatic parts car with unknown miles and with a bad motor. The input shaft bearing feels like new and the diff is in great shape, with no leaks. I have cleaned and detailed this unit to look as it does in the photos.

The rear cover was removed to inspect the ring and pinion gear and inner workings for abnormal wear. I cleaned it up and took the photos. I did not paint the outside to make it look new like other sellers do. This is the real deal - no gunk, rust or residues, suggesting this is a well cared for diff, with the oil changed according to BMW recommendations. The case has basically no rust on the case, but the insides are spectacular.

Be assured, this diff is in great shape and will not whine! It takes experience to evaluate these units, so you can trust my description. You will need to install and reseal the rear cover, since I removed it for inspection. This diff will fit all E36 US models from'92-99 with a U-joint type driveshaft rear flange. If you have a CV type (like on some M3s), the flange from your diff can be installed on this diff by a qualified differential shop. This will fit the 6 cylinder cars, and not the 4 cylinder 318 and 323 models with the small case diffs. The unit weighs approximately 90 lbs when boxed up.
