Modified BMW Limited Slip Differential End Cap for 3 clutch setup -188 E30 / E36

  
DOES NOT FIT anything with a ratio of 3.07 or taller (smaller numerically). MESSAGE ME IF YOU ARE NOT SURE. This is a genuine BMW end cap for the ZF manufactured type 188 limited slip, part number 33 14 1 210 616. It has been machined, approximately 3mm has been removed from the face to allow installation of a 3rd clutch disc. The type 188 limited slip could be had in any of the following US vehicles. E23 733i, 735i E24 633CSi, 635CSi E28 528e, 533i, 535i, 535iS E30 325i, 325e, 325is, M3 E32 735i, 735iL E34 525i, 530i, 535i E36 323i, 325i, 328i, M3 E36 Z3 MCoupe and MRoadster (Will also fit all other 6 cylinder Z3, but was not standard). Also fits the same, plus other, non US BMW models. All of these vehicles listed MAY have had a limited slip from the factory, or they may have had a limited slip swapped in by a prior owner. They are all type 188 final drives and may contain a limited slip differential. NOTE, early 633CSi had a side loader diff, this will NOT fit those cars. The end caps themselves are very strong, but the failure is caused by a poor choice of bolts. The original bolts that ZF used to secure these end caps will ultimately break. The heads pop off the bolts.

Unfortunately, they don't all fail at the same time, so that leaves the end cap with uneven loading, which results in the small tabs where the bolts holes are, failing.
