BMW E90 M3 4.0 S65 V8 dual to single mass billet lightweight conversion flywheel and OEM twin plate Sachs clutch. The flywheel is a lightweight unit machined to replace the heavy dual mass flywheels prone to failure. These are precision CNC machined in the UK from a forged billet of chromoly steel. Made to OEM dimensions retaining OEM timing markers, no modification is required to fit. The unit comes dynamically balanced with the starter motor ring gear machined into the flywheel for improved high RPM safety.

Weight is lightened at 6KG improving engine response through reduced intertia, other weights are available if preferred. The clutch the OEM twin plate clutch made by Sachs in Germany for the M3.

Some stock is carried but the flywheels are usually machined to order and can take 4-6 weeks. On the plus side, this means we can machine custom variants of these with ease, different weights including catering for a full range of competition clutches in 140mm, 184mm, 200mm and 215mm are all available for reduced inertia and improved stiffness.
